Синокрассула юннаньская — уход в домашних условиях

Sinokrassula Yunnan home care

Species description

Sinokrassula is a low-growing plant with basal rosettes in the form of stars from fleshy triangular leaves, although there are seven species in nature synocrassula, in apartments only two of them are grown – Yunnan and densirozulata.

Succulent ground-cover, leaves form curtains that give it decorativeness.

It rarely blooms with small white bells collected in a panicle on a long flower stalk . It can grow in open ground and be used as an element of landscape design.

Planting and transplanting

The first transplant is required immediately after purchase.In the future, if the pot is selected correctly, the succulent can be transplanted once every 3 years, an adult plant even less often.

It is important that the flowerpot is spacious – low and wide. So it will be easier for sinocrassula to grow in different directions.

Soil for succulents needs a special one, with a predominance of coarse sand and gravel, which easily passes moisture. The main thing for synocrassula is good drainage. Expanded clay is laid in the first layer, then finer vermiculite, and only on top is nutrient soil mixed with polystyrene and gravel. The more baking powder in the soil, the better.

Fine building sand is not suitable for lightening the substrate! It will complicate the penetration of moisture and prevent the roots of the succulent from breathing normally.

Purchase and adaptation

Immediately after the purchase, the plant should be carefully inspected. Even if it looks healthy, quarantine is necessary. Succulents are often infected with root nematodes or root thrips. Therefore, it is better to transplant it into another container with new soil after 1-2 weeks of adaptation to the microclimate.

Another reason for transplanting after purchase is a peat mixture in which succulents are placed for sale. It is not suitable for their constant growth. After transplanting, the flower is placed in the designated space next to the others.

Selecting a place

The flower will feel great in a room on the south or west window.Free air circulation is welcome, but drafts are contraindicated.

Sometimes the syracrassula is planted with others as a groundcover. Entering a symbiosis with each other, they will grow well together.

Necessary microclimate

Humidity

Succulents prefer a dry climate . They are never sprayed or placed near pallets of water. Excessive moisture leads to illness. The most dangerous of them is root rot. But even a simple weakening of the immune system is unpleasant for the flower – the synokrassula will stop growing, begin to fade and lose its decorativeness.

Temperature

In summer, the succulent needs a temperature of + 22-25 ° C. In autumn, when the dormant period begins, it must be reduced to + 16-18 ° C.

It is better to rearrange the flowerpot in a cooler room. The minimum wintering temperature is +10 ° C. The flower can withstand a short-term decrease to +5 ° C, but it is better not to conduct such experiments.

The main condition for the correct wintering of the synocassula is the difference between day and night temperatures. It should differ by 4-6 ° C.

A well-rested plant during the winter will take better growth and be healthier in spring, new rosettes and flower stalks will appear, and the life span will increase.

Lighting

Синокрассуле нужно много света

Synoclassule needs a lot of light

All succulents require a lot of light.With its deficiency, they stretch out, and in the case of synocrussula this is unacceptable. All beauty will disappear if the flower begins to thin and reach up. It’s better not to bring this up, choosing for him the brightest place in the house.

Sinokrassula is not prone to burns and tolerates direct sunlight. In summer, the plant can even be taken to the garden in a sunny place. It will gain strength and grow better. The main thing is to ensure that the flowerpot does not rain.

Home care

All Crassulaceae are not too whimsical, but there are general rules for keeping them. Even such an “unkillable” plant can be destroyed if you do not follow them.

If you create suitable conditions for the synocrassula, it will delight you with beauty for many years. They are true long-livers, capable of growing for more than 50 years.

Watering

Water all the Crassulaceae in moderation, infrequently. A flower can do without water for a long time, using nutrients from fleshy leaves. It is better to undersaturated than oversaturated with moisture. Then root decay will not be avoided.

Water for irrigation must first be defended. It should be at room temperature, not cold.

You can never water the synocrassula with tap water – because of the excess chlorine, it will not be absorbed by the weak roots of the succulent.

Feeding

With all the unpretentiousness of synocrassula, she needs additional feeding.They are introduced from spring until the end of summer, when the plant has an active period of growth and flowering.

There are many mineral complexes for succulents, in which the correct proportions of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus are already selected, etc.

Well-proven drugs such as:

  • Stimovit;
  • Good Strength;
  • Pokon;
  • Gilea;
  • Fertis.

This is a liquid fertilizer for root dressing, most suitable for sinocassula. Organic is not recommended. Excess nitrogen in them can lead to decay.

Methods of reproduction

Propagate the Hunnan syrup in three ways. Each of them has advantages and features. Succulents are easy to propagate if you follow all the rules.

Seeds

Seeds are sown in vermiculite or coarse sand, sprinkled slightly on top. They cover the container with film or glass and put it under an incandescent lamp.

It simultaneously warms and gives the sprouts the necessary light. At a temperature of 27-30 ° C, the seeds will germinate after 2 weeks. After 2 months, they can be planted in separate pots.

Cuttings

Scheme: tear off the leaf, put it to dry for 2-3 days, then dip into Kornevin and drop it off into the substrate.

Be sure to make a greenhouse by covering the stem with a glass or a jar. Keep warm at a temperature of 25-28 ° C. The leaf will take root in 2-3 weeks.

By dividing the adult plant

Взрослое растение можно поделить

An adult plant can be divided

When transplanting, you can divide the thickened plant into several parts. It is desirable that each part has a root system. By placing the segments in separate pots and putting them in a warm place, the succulents will harden and begin to grow.

This method allows you to get independent adult outlets in a few weeks.

Sinocrassula is an unusual and unpretentious plant, real decoration of the home collection of succulents.When properly selected watering regime, lighting, top dressing and timely Transplant the plant will delight decorative soybeans for many years.
