What is contained in bee pollen?

Bee pollen amino acid composition:

  • arginine;
  • valine;
  • histidine;
  • isoleucine;
  • leucine;
  • lysine;
  • methionine;
  • threonine;
  • tryptophan;
  • phenylalanine.

Vitamin composition

From the list below you can find out what vitamins are in bee pollen. Each pollen grain contains:

  • ascorbic acid (vitamin C);
  • aneurin (B1);
  • Riboflavin (B2);
  • pyridoxine (B6);
  • PP-nicotinic acid (B5);
  • pantothenic acid (B3);
  • biotin (H);
  • folic acid (Sun);
  • carotene (provitamin A);
  • calciferol (D);
  • tocopherol (E);
  • rutin (R), and others.

In addition, there are enzymes that act as biological catalysts (substances important for chemical processes in the body).

Also, the pollen grains of some plants contain hormonal substances: follicular (female) sex hormones – estrogens, and substances that have a biological effect of the male sex hormone – androgens.

Mineral compounds

The chemical composition of bee pollen includes mineral salts. Some of them are found in the ash of flower pollen in small amounts (barium, vanadium, tungsten, iridium, zinc, cobalt, silver, gold, strontium, cadmium, tungsten), but each of the 27 minerals found here is extremely important for normal vital functions of organs and entire systems of the body.
