Honey for violation of the skin: wounds, trophic ulcers, burns

Treatment of wounds with honey is possible due to the disinfecting and antiseptic properties of the bee product. Everyone remembers well how the body of Alexander the Great was safely delivered home in a container filled with honey. The decay did not touch him.

Academician N.V. Tsitsin believes that this bee product kills harmful bacteria and counteracts the growth of various pyogenic microorganisms.

Honey can be safely called a biological antiseptic, the action of which is directed against microbial cells. In folk medicine, the bee product is used alone or along with antibiotics, if prescribed by a doctor.
