Transplant from Soil to Hydroponics System – Hydroponics

In the case of transplanting plants from soil into a hydroponic system, a number of conditions should be adhered to, on which the further successful development of the plant will depend.

  1. When removing a flower from an old pot, do not damage the root system. To do this, before transplanting, we recommend that you water the soil well;
  2. It is best to put a plant taken out of the ground by its roots in a bucket of warm water along with all the soil that remains on the roots. Rinse the roots lightly in water, then free the roots from the soil with your hands, and also remove any decayed or damaged areas with scissors. If there are too many damaged roots, do not plant the plant hydroponically on the same day, but place it in a pot of warm water for 2 days with the addition of several tablets of activated carbon (10 tablets per 1 liter of water); You can also add a root growth stimulant to your hydroponic nutrient solution later on.
  3. Place the plant in a hydroponic system so that it reaches the level of the nutrient solution. If this does not happen, the level of the nutrient solution should be raised for a while, until the roots increase their length.

Advice. A plant transplanted from soil does not need to be immediately placed in a nutrient solution, it should stand for a while in ordinary water. It is better to apply the nutrient solution and fertilizers when the first batch of water has evaporated and the level float has dropped to the minimum amount of liquid (after about two weeks).
