For general strengthening of the body, an aqueous solution, which is drunk in the morning, is an ideal choice. This is one of the best ways to cheer up, start the metabolism and work of the gastrointestinal tract, and prevent viral infections of the nose, throat, and lungs.

Of course, you can eat honey before going outside. But here it is important to clarify when and in what way it is used..

In the warm season, there is nothing to worry about. Autumn, spring and especially winter are dangerous by hypothermia. This means that after warming up with tea (honey has nothing to do with it), you cannot go out into the cold air for the next ten to fifteen minutes.

But the honey product itself in some people provokes profuse sweating, if you use it immediately after tea or take a bite with it. Of course, the diaphoretic effect is less pronounced than that of raspberry jam. But it is there.

Therefore, the conclusion is as follows: warm and especially hot tea + honey = risk of hypothermia of the upper respiratory tract.

And if you drink warm water? Usually, the honey product is stirred in water at almost room temperature and a glass of the solution is drunk immediately after waking up. Accordingly, a lot of time passes before going outside. And such a drink does not provoke strong sweating.

The conclusion is obvious here: honey water or a spoonful of honey absorbed in the morning in the mouth can in no way cause hypothermia when going out into the cold air.

In conclusion

Summarizing what has been said, I would like to say that some people drink coffee with honey or tea without any consequences, almost immediately going outside in winter. But this does not mean that you, too, will not catch a cold.

Therefore, follow two simple rules:

1) let the body cool down for 10-15 minutes, before going out, be sure to wrap your throat with a scarf;

2) a even better, dissolve the honey product ten minutes after tea drinking, this will preserve all vitamins and biologically active substances of the product in their original form.

Alternatively, drink an aqueous solution prepared with water at room temperature. Add a teaspoon of grape vinegar, apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice to it for a natural digestive system cleanser.

And most importantly, do not forget about contraindications! Food intolerance, diabetes mellitus (you can eat, but in small quantities), acute inflammatory processes of the gastrointestinal tract. Also, the honey product is eaten with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. And they don’t give it to children until a year.
